A drop of rain falling down and splashing onto the floor may just be one of the nicest sounds an ear could hear. Water pounding onto the surface of a sidewalk is a beautiful sight. This is why a rainy day may be the best of them all, causing wet grass and dripping roofs.
Rain can put you in a sad, depressing mood when you’re in it. Water on your face sliding down to the floor, making you wet. Was that a raindrop or a tear? No one would know but you. The dark clouds might be hovering over the earth putting the world in a bad mood. What if you’re in a car? Watching the drops falling onto the window, falling down unto the ground may remind you of tears, and causing them. When there’s rain, you can’t do many things outside which makes your day pretty useless.
The dirt is gone, replaced by mud. Jumping into the mud can bring you laughter and joy. Carelessly running into the puddles and getting dirty, what a day. Dancing around in the rain, even without music, can be much more enjoyable than inside waiting for it to go away. Rain can be fun and exciting, as well as calm and peaceful. You can just simply watch the water pounding down from the dark, blue sky into the puddles creating a small explosion of splashes.
Hopefully, these days make you happy, feeling pure and refreshed. Rain could ruin your game of basketball in the front yard, or it could just cool you off. Rain sometimes visits us for a few minutes, or even hours. However long it lasts, or whatever mood it puts you in, rainy days will always be special.
Christy Miller, the title character in Robin Jones Gunn’s Christy Miller series, is your everyday fourteen-year old girl. Christy gets herself into many everyday trials and tricky situations. The usual outgoing and friendly teenager is shy and lonely when she goes to visit her Aunt Marti and Uncle Bob for the summer in Newport Beach, California in their beach house. Readers see Christy grow and make decisions that have an impact on her life to change forever.
After unpacking and getting settled, Christy walks to the beach where she meets a girl named Alissa. Alissa is nice and friendly, allowing Christy to feel more comfortable in the new environment. After spending hours at the beach reading a book and talking with her new friend, Christy goes back to her temporary home feeling confident. Summer, Summer
Best time of year
That's when it rains
And you can hide your tears
Summer, Summer
Pools will open
Beaches are best
The mall has sales
And a lot more rest
Summer, Summer
It's still here
The clouds had faded
And rain came down
That's never out-dated
Summer, Summer
That once was here
But it's end is near
School starts soon
and more full moons
Summer, Summer
A picture taken
A video shot
A trip taken
and a memory made

Nobody cares bout what you've been up to
You can brag brag brag
Bout you're friends and all the girls you know
I wont miss those times
Just leave me alone I need to get you out of my mind
Hey, Hey!
So yeah. I'm also working on a few songs myself. :) Maybe if I finish them and they turn out decent, I'll post the lyrics. :D Speaking of writing songs, I might get guitar lessons if I show I'm responsible to my mom. I totally want to. Then I can play my guitar with my songs. I learned piano, but I don't know much. My mom wanted me to quit because she thought it wasn't doing much for me. Although, it's kinda good that I know some stuff I'll need to know for guitar. have a guitar. I bought one like, 2 years ago. I had to pay like $40 for that thing and I still dont have lessons! So I'm hoping I can learn guitar.
Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you what else happened today. Well, my computer got full. :'( so I had to spend like an HOUR clearing space and within minutes it was like full again. What the heck! When I sign off, then sign back on, it has more space. But right now it has 0KB. Whatever. It's really confusingg. I hate it.
