It's like the first day of school.

Yeah. Today felt like the first day of school. Excited, scared, and nervous all at the same time. Yesterday, my mom goes "hey wanna know what you're doing tomorrow?" Me: "I'm scared...what?" Her: "your going to this place where they like study your balance." Me: "oh great." I had no clue what I was gonna do, I just knew I was gonna go somewhere the next day.

So Today, I woke up, went on computer, yada yada yada you don't care. Then I was reading, and the clock read 12:34. We were supposed to leave at 12:30, so I ran to my mom and so then we left. So I went there, and we met them, and I, as usual, was all shy and stuff.

So then the guy there took me in this small thing, the size of a large closet, and there was a chair in the middle. I sat in the chair, he strapped me in, and we were set. He told me a red light would show up and to just do what he said. There were speakers in there so we could talk back and forth. When he shut the door, the chair spinned a bit to the left. He told me to follow the red light with my eyes. I did, and then the chair spinned a bunch, but I felt like I was staying still the whole time. weird. :P After all this for like 20 freakin minutes, I finally got out and felt relieved. Why? because the whole time I was in there, it was pitch black. my eyes hurt from staring at a pitch black wall. I got confused where the straight forward was. When I finally got out and saw the light shining through the windows, I was happy. We were done...with that.

Then, I went to this chair, and letters appeared on the screen. Kinda like at the eye doctor. The letter got smaller and smaller, and I'd have to say what letter it was. It got pretty tricky, but they said I have amazing eyesight to see it when it was so small. Then, I turned my head, and it'd show up when I was turning for like a split second, and it'd be extremely small. I'd say the letter. It was REALLY hard. 1/4 of it was just guesses, but apparently, I did pretty good. After that nightmare which lasted about probably 20 minutes, I got to sit in this chair thing.

Then, there was like some tape in the middle of a room. I had to walk across it casually. Then, I had to do it backwards, eyes closed, looking to the left, right, down, up, and across cones and other obstacles, and slow, fast, and turning around, etc. Yeah, not my idea of a nice Friday.

They had the movie Madagascar (original) playing at my left. I'd sit and watch the movie and sit as still as I could without moving. There was a face on the screen of a blue guy, when I was doing good, he'd turn yellow and smile. When I was doing bad, he'd remain blue and frown. Kinda freaky. Although, I was the oldest one that came so far. Ages were 3-17. Everyone else that came so far was under 7. Anyways, after that for a while, I was done. That probably lasted 20 minutes as well. My neck was really cramping after that.

After THAT, I did the screen and letter thing again. For like probably 30 minutes.

May I say that for all of that, I had stuff on me? like little thing that looked like shots without the needles like taped on my head and stuff. Except the one with the screen and letters, that one I had this hat thing on my head.

Finally, a thing without anything on my head!!! Except, I had something around my waist. Oh joy. It was a little foam thing. With some wires hanging on it. I stood on this wooden thing, and stare at a black X on the wall for like 2 minutes. They were testing my balance, because the wooden thing was a balance board, like for Wii Fit. It was hard. Oh, and I had to have my hands folded like an X across my chest. Like when you go on water slides at water parks, sorta. I did that, and it was hard. Oh boy oh boy oh boy. Then, I had to freakin CLOSE my eyes. THAT was hard. Then, I had to stand on this huge foam thing with my eyes closed. HARD. then, I had to do it on the wooden thing with like my legs crossed: HARD. After that, they told me my balance was better than any of them and I apparently have AMAZING balance. Yeah, didn't seem like it when I was doing it.

After all that, guess what. This was the best part: they handed me a $60 gift card to target. WOAHHH!! :D My mom bought it from me. So now I have $60 laying on my dresser. That's going towards my saving for an iPod Touch. That put together with my money already, gives me about $61. ;) haha. I'm a terrible saver. But I'm determined now that I got a boost.

So what do you think of my day? Pretty amazing to me. :D
